SEND US YOUR STORY

If you want to contact the Investigative News Agency about a story please rest assured your identity will be protected. The easiest way to get in touch with us is by email to: investigationsteam@investigate.news. Emails have limited security, and can be traced or hacked, even if you set up a new account using a fake name. However, The Investigative News Agency uses PGP, a popular system for encrypting emails. If you send emails using PGP then the sender and recipient addresses remain visible but the content of the message is encrypted. To send us an encrypted email you need to set up PGP on your email. It can seem complicated, but the browser extension Mailvelope can provide help. There are also how-to guides for Windows and Mac OS X online. Please do note that PGP protects only the contents of an email, not the fact of its existence, so if you use a work email account (or one in your real name) it may still show that you have been in contact with The Investigative News Agency. It is also important to remember that whatever you use as your subject line in a PGP email will not be encrypted.
